On South Funen awaits an atmospheric farmhouse of 140 m², where retro style and rural tranquility go hand in hand. The house is situated unobstructed at the end of an avenue and is surrounded by nature, so the holiday can be enjoyed away from the noise of everyday life.

The dwelling is originally from the 1800s and was restored in 2022 with respect for the house's style from the 1960s. On the ground floor there is a spacious living room with sofa corner, dining area and daybed with two sleeping places as well as a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom with underfloor heating.

On the first floor are the house's two bedrooms. Together with the extra sleeping places in the living room there is room for six guests, which makes the house suitable for both family holidays and holidays with friends.

Outside you have your own garden, covered terrace, grilling area and lawn with bonfire spot. The property is situated on a 5.5 hectare natural plot with plenty of space for ball games, play and relaxation under the old trees. A wood-fired wilderness bath can be used for a fee.

The area around Skårup offers some of what characterizes South Funen: rolling landscapes, forests, river valleys and coast. Skårupøre Strand is located at Svendborgsund and has both sand, bathing jetty and shallow water, while several other beaches and good fishing spots are found along the coast.

From the house there is about five minutes' walk to a bathing jetty, so a morning dip or a trip to the water easily becomes part of the holiday.

A short drive leads to Svendborg, where harbour environment, shops, cafés and cultural life offer the opportunity to combine a nature holiday with experiences in the city. The location is at the same time a good starting point for trips around South Funen and further out into the South Funen Archipelago.
