The apartment is located on the first and second floors, the terrace facing the sea is completely private and both terraces are large and have dining spaces for six people. The walk across the harbour to Brugsen passes the old fishermen's houses, now arts and crafts, galleries and cafés. Shopping is easy: A well-stocked Brugs and the fishmonger "Fiski" are within walking distance and are also open at weekends. Here you can buy freshly caught fish and the island's famous fish meatballs.
Dine out at the harbour's good local restaurant, try the classic fish table at Bagenkop Kro, or drive to Broløkke Gods for good menus and dinner concerts. Skovsgård Gods offers lunch, museum and Konabbe Forest.
Bagenkop is an obvious starting point for a nature holiday. Follow the paths to Gulstav Klint and experience the wild horses on the beautiful route towards Dovns Klint. The coast changes character within a few kilometres and offers fine bathing, fishing and photo opportunities.
In 15 minutes by car you reach Ristinge Klint, Hesselbjerg Strand and the bird-rich Tryggelev Nor. Viewpoints, wide sandy beaches and shallow bays make the area ideal for families, bathing, kayaking and long walks in the evening sun.
Only 700 metres from the property you will find Bagenkop Community Park, which is for children and young people of all ages. There is mini golf with 12 holes and a padel court, Tarzan swing, flying swing and a fun playground with an impressive pirate ship.
Combine nature with art: Visit Tickon in the castle park at Tranekær, where international land art is scattered throughout the forest. Around the island, ceramicists, graphic designers and visual artists keep open studios and galleries with pleasant stops along the way.
