Welcome to a holiday home where time slows down and peace is allowed to fill the space. Just a few minutes' walk from the broad, child-friendly sandy beach at Marielyst, you'll find this genuine, cosy holiday home – a place where memories are created and the hustle and bustle of everyday life fades into the background.
Here there are no sterile surfaces or indifferent furnishings. The house is personal and warm – filled with little stories in the form of old flea-market finds, inherited porcelain, children's drawings and the board games that have brought the family together many summer evenings over the years. It all creates an atmosphere of genuine presence and homely cosiness.
The house accommodates up to 7 people spread across three cosy bedrooms and a comfortable sofa bed. The newly renovated kitchen is bright and functional and opens onto the living room and the large covered terrace, where morning coffee is best enjoyed to the sound of birdsong and the sun on your face. In the evening, the terrace transforms into a natural gathering point for grilling and long conversations with blankets around your shoulders.
Outside awaits a lovely garden – green, informal and with space for both a hammock, ball games and bonfire cosiness. After a dip in the sea, you can rinse off the salt in the outdoor shower, relax in the hot spa (the spa is not available between September – April) or take a quiet moment in the Finnish sauna. All surrounded by trees and peace.
The beach is reached in under five minutes via a small path, and shopping is within walking distance – ideal for fresh rolls or the day's fish for the grill. If you feel like a bit of town life, Marielyst centre is just a pleasant walk along the water away.
