The small cozy harbour town Hou, from where you can take a guided tour to the car-free island Tunø is 5 km. from the house. In Hou you will also find good shopping opportunities and restaurants. Odder, which is Denmark's largest village, is only 6 km. away. Here there is plenty of opportunity for shopping including Denmark's largest Kvickly and pleasant shopping on the town's pedestrian street.
