The area around Egsmark is ideal for cycling and hiking through the hilly terrain and is rich in wildlife. The beach at Egsmark is a child-friendly sandy beach. In Ebeltoft, you can visit the Old Town Hall, where people come from near and far to get married. At the harbor, you’ll find the Glass Museum, which is highly popular and a leader in modern glass art. The harbor also offers several good shops and restaurants, with fresh fish available every day. For those seeking adventure, you can go on a safari at Ree Park, where you can get up close to wild animals, or visit the Kattegat Center in Grenaa to see large sharks. A trip to Djurs Sommerland, Northern Europe’s largest amusement park, is also recommended, offering fun for both big and small, and located just about a 30-minute drive from the house.
