Inside there is a living room (with a sofa bed), a minimalist open-plan kitchen, stylishly furnished bathroom and a large charming bedroom. There is no TV, but instead plenty of space for peace and contemplation. Every detail has been chosen with care to create a balance between aesthetics and function. From the private terrace facing west there is a view of the town's historic Falsled Kro and the sunset can be enjoyed as peace settles over the area. Faldsled is a lovely village surrounded by inviting beautiful Funen nature. The town also has a cosy harbour area for the enjoyment of both young and old. A short drive from here lies another charming harbour town, Faaborg, which has good shopping opportunities, museums and cafés. Book your stay today and look forward to a memorable getaway in fantastic surroundings! Welcome to Faldsled Faldsled is a small, charming village on South Funen, approximately 8 km from Faaborg. The town is beautifully situated on Helnæsbugten and offers experiences by the coast, forest, culture and good opportunities for relaxation and active holidays. Natural areas and hiking trails From Faldsled Harbour you can walk south along the coast to the shelter at Millinge Klint (approximately 2–3 km). The route follows the water and offers views of the small islands Vigø, Illumø and Horsehoved. If instead you walk north from the harbour, you reach Damsbo Forest and the beach after approximately 2–3 km. The beach is child-friendly with shallow water, and the forest contains several beautiful hiking trails – including past the impressive Damsbo oak, which is estimated to be around 700 years old. Harbour and local experiences Faldsled has a small, cosy leisure boat harbour, which is a natural meeting point in the summer season. Here there is a peaceful atmosphere, views over the bay and good opportunities to enjoy life by the water. At the harbour you will also find: • Falsled Kro – a historic inn from 1744, known for gastronomy and idyllic surroundings. • Vandkanten – an informal restaurant with fish & chips and old-fashioned ice cream among other things. Food is eaten outdoors. (Seasonal – typically from spring to late summer.) • Galleriverket – a small gallery with art and interior design, where you can enjoy coffee, wine or a light meal both inside and outside. (Seasonal.) During 2026 an unmanned 24/7 smart shop will open in the middle of the town with basic groceries. In the same building Sesong will also open, which will offer takeaway such as salad bowls etc. Faldsled Strand Camping In the middle of the town is Faldsled Strand Camping, which offers: Breakfast and freshly brewed coffee, Rental of kayaks and bicycles, small café with local goods and handicrafts (Open in season.) Strandparken by Den Gamle Skole: In 2024 Strandparken was established as a recreational area for both locals and visitors. Here you will find, Pétanque courts, Football pitch, Beach volleyball court, Playground for the youngest and Down by the water there is a sauna with changing room and shower, which can be used freely.
