Bright and inviting holiday home near Gilleleje – just 200 m from the water
Are you looking for a holiday home where modern comfort meets authentic atmosphere? This fully renovated holiday home of 71 m² offers a bright and welcoming base close to Gilleleje's beautiful coastline. The house was originally designed for Dansk Folkeferie by architect Stefan Kappel in 1985, and renovated in 2008 by architect Dorthe Mandrup, and today appears modern with white tile floors and rendered walls – and with selected designer furniture from the 80s.
Furnishings and Facilities
The heart of the house is the bright kitchen-living room. Here you can relax in a classic slatted sofa or armchair in front of the wood-burning stove or enjoy a good dinner at the dining table.
• Kitchen: Well-equipped with everything from dishwasher and microwave to all kitchen utensils.
• Bedrooms: Two good rooms with newer box mattresses and top mattresses. One with a "double bed" that can be separated into two, the other with two single beds plus two smart bunk beds that can be folded out.
• Bathroom: Bright bathroom with underfloor heating and heated towel rail.
• Technology: Fast Wi-Fi, large TV package (DK/Nordic/DE) and heat pump/air conditioning.
• Small desk/writing desk: In the living room and in both bedrooms
Life Outdoors
The house has two lovely terraces, so you can follow the sun all day:
1. South-facing terrace: Partially covered and completely unobstructed. Perfect for lunch and grilling.
2. West-facing terrace: Here you can enjoy the evening sun and on a good day a little glimpse of the water with a cold drink in hand.
The Area and Experiences
The house is located in a former holiday centre, which means you have plenty of activities at hand, such as playground, football pitch and mini golf. Note: there is no access to the holiday centre's pools etc. At the same time, your terrace and small lawn are private.
• Beach & Nature: Only 200 metres to the coast with fine bathing opportunities. Don't miss the fantastic sunset from the cliff at the end of the row of houses! And the starry sky.
• Gilleleje: Take the beautiful walk along the coastal path (2.5 km) into Gilleleje Harbour, where you will find cosy cafés, restaurants and plenty of town life.
