Description
Fantastic location in the 1st dune row
This authentic holiday home almost evokes the atmosphere of a seaside hotel. It was originally built in 1927 and has been continuously maintained. It is the ground-floor apartment with a separate entrance. The first floor of the house is not included in the rental and may be let separately. The house faces the dunes where others are welcome to walk, and should the apartment on the first floor be in use, there will be a need for passage for the tenants of the first floor. This has always proven to be manageable.
The house is painted red with white windows and a white-painted terrace of 40m2. From the terrace you step directly out into the dunes, and you cannot help but be captivated by the view. There is approximately 100 metres to the water, and a dune landscape with a trail system. The property is not fenced.
The bedroom contains two box mattresses, 160x200cm. In the living room's veranda section facing the water there are also two sofa beds, each for 2 people.
In the living room there is a wood-burning stove (a closed stove of the type that resembles a tiled stove, and which takes a little time to provide warmth) as well as TV with Chromecast. There is free internet.
The kitchen contains what you need for everyday cooking. There is a bathroom with a shower. The house is heated with a heat pump, which provides good heating and better indoor climate. A lovely house at all times of year, but in the winter half of the year you should be aware that the house is older and not fully insulated.
A really cosy house close to, among other things, Kattegatcentret, the Marina and ferry to Anholt. It is pleasant to stroll around the marina, where there is also a restaurant and ice cream shop. There is a really good and child-friendly beach, lovely nature and peaceful surroundings. If you wish to hike you can enjoy beautiful walks both along the sandy beach, which is part of Molsruten, but also through the adjacent holiday home area to reach the plantation to the south and west. Two minutes from the house lies the plantation where you can both cycle or mountain bike so there is something for everyone right in the area. In Grenå, the more than 500-year-old market town, which is approximately 3 km away, there are good opportunities for sightseeing and shopping.
The house is also well positioned for excursions. Both Djurs Sommerland, Skandinavisk Dyrepark, Randers Regnskov, Ree Park, Fregatten Jylland, Ebeltoft Gårdbryggeri, Mols Bjerge and Den gamle By in Aarhus are within approximately 1 hour's drive from the house.
