Fantastic location on a private closed gravel road where there are only 9 other summer houses. 180 degree view and a private beach below the house. Suitable for e.g. 2 families or 2 generations who want to live separately but share the orangery, garden, terrace, beach, kitchen and common room with a view. The property consists of 2 houses of 177m2 that are connected via a glass corridor and a 25m2 orangery. There is a shared entrance/hallway, kitchen and dining room in "Fjordhuset" The property is distributed as follows. One house "Fjordhuset" contains: Hallway, dining room, kitchen, bathroom "Pejsestuen" with a 2-person sofa bed in size 140 x 200cm. (the fireplace must not be used due to fire hazard) Lg Tv. Doors to common room & bedroom. Bedroom with double bed in size 140 x 200cm. Exit to orangery and pejsestuen. Bedroom with bunk bed for 2 persons in size 90 x 200cm. Exit to hallway & orangery. The other house "Tegnestuen" contains: Living room with extra sofa bed/daybed in approx. size 140 x 200 cm. Lg Tv, table football, various board games and similar. Doors to garden, loft and stairs to glass corridor and bathroom. Bedroom with pull-out double bed in approx. size 185 x 200cm., and in the same room loft with 2 x 80x165cm. mattresses that are placed in line with each other so that 1 adult or 2 children can sleep (the loft is not suitable for small children due to height, the mattresses can possibly be moved down) Bathroom which is accessed via the living room and the bottom of the stairs in the glass corridor. In addition there is a shelter with a bonfire area and grill stand (firewood can be collected on the grounds or beach) - and it is possible to pitch your own tent on the private beach. The private child-friendly beach has a bathing jetty and many sailing opportunities such as dinghies, kayaks, canoes, family sit-on-top kayaks etc. Normally you bathe in fine water directly from the beach or the bathing jetty. Wind & weather can however bring seaweed to the coast and/or the tide can mean that sometimes you have to go a bit out into the fjord to get into the water. Depending on inclination and energy there is for example the opportunity to walk or sail directly from the beach to the very popular "Munkholm ice cream kiosk", Orø, Sømilestationen (where torpedoes were previously housed) or a longer kayak trip to Holbæk harbour/centre. There are also good opportunities for hiking in the 2 forests which both largely start on either side of the property. If you walk from the property to the left the gravel road stops after approx. 250 meters and you walk into Erikholm forest. If you choose to walk to the right you walk through an impressive meadow area after which you walk into Munkholm forest after approx. 800 meters. Please write for more info.
