With a view over Lyø and the South Funen archipelago, Højvang is located only 400 m from a bathing beach. Højvang is originally a farm and has been owned by the family since 1955. The property was converted in 2013 into a large holiday home for many - family, friends, anglers, staff and everyone else who wants to enjoy nature and the many opportunities available here. There is an associated large plot with opportunities for play and ball games, and the bonfire area invites you to make s'mores and enjoy cosy time together. Several screened terraces can be used depending on sun and wind. The old barn has been converted into an activity room with table tennis, table football and darts, and there is also a cosy corner for "the young ones".
The house itself is on two floors with a total of 6 bedrooms, of which 2 are on the ground floor. There are two bathrooms on the ground floor and a guest toilet on the first floor.
The house also contains a modern and well-equipped kitchen and living room in direct extension of the kitchen with sofa group and dining area. In addition, there is a utility room/scullery with washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and extra refrigerator as well as a table with washing area. The house is wheelchair-friendly so wheelchair users can move freely around the ground floor.
There is underfloor heating throughout the house with ash wood parquet on the first floor and tiles on the ground floor. The house is heated with geothermal heating.

Højvang is located just above the holiday home area Horne Sommerland, which is a smaller holiday home area only 9 km from Fåborg. South Funen is known for its very special, undulating nature with, among other things, Svanninge Bakker, which with a twinkle in the eye is called the Funen Alps, and not least the unique and beautiful South Funen archipelago. The idyllic harbour town of Fåborg is only 10 minutes' drive from the area. Here there are exciting shops, cultural attractions, restaurants and a swimming pool. South Funen has plenty to offer. Take a day trip to Lyø, Avernakø and Ærø. The ferry departs daily from Fåborg Harbour. Visit Egeskov Castle, which is one of Funen's largest attractions, or experience Funen's largest city Odense only 45 minutes' drive from the area.
