The summer house is beautifully renovated while preserving the old character of the cottage. The house is well-appointed with 3 good large bedrooms (7 single beds, all of which can be combined into double beds) and the spacious living room is connected to the kitchen and filled with games and table football and plenty of space. In the evening there is the most beautiful light into the living room, and it is perfect to enjoy a glass of wine, each other's company and just feel the peace settle in. There is also a TV in the living room which has German, Danish, Swedish and English channels and with Google ChromeCast. The house is situated on a bright and open plot with good opportunities for play and ball games. 2 large doors out to the lovely grass where there is furniture for all people at the table - and there is of course also the opportunity to enjoy the view out into the garden with a good book in hand. You can enjoy the lovely nature around Kyndeløse, only 12 minutes walk to the water's edge and otherwise a pleasantly quiet area. In summer a bathing bridge is set up, bring your own kayak if you wish. The relatively sheltered waters are indeed ideal for both kayaking and windsurfing. There are ample opportunities for fishing most of the year, with the fjord offering many fish species. There are also opportunities for forest walks and golf within a distance of at most 20 km. The house is close to Roskilde. Copenhagen can be reached in less than an hour by car. In the area around Kyndeløse there are several major tourist attractions. In Lejre municipality itself there is Sagnlandet Lejre, where you can easily spend days and immerse yourself in how Denmark was when it all began. At Egholm Castle you will find a large war museum. In Brorfelde, known from the Christmas calendar "Julestjerner", you will find Brorfelde Observatory, which regularly has events for both children and families. In Holbæk, "Oplevelsescenter Nyvang" attracts more than a couple of hundred thousand guests every year. The living children's culture has summer holiday events for children. There is Turkish Bath with the most wonderful wellness offerings, there are music concerts, climbing park and beach area by the old harbour. Skomagerkroen by Kirke Såby and restaurant SuRi in Holbæk serve food at the absolutely sublime end of the scale. In general, Holbæk, Roskilde and the surrounding area have many, many cultural offerings for both children and adults. Not rented to youth groups.
