The holiday home was previously a railway station in Dalarna, but now it is a wonderful holiday home by the beach at Bodasjön. The house is located on the last plot (facing west) down to the lake. A real paradise for those who love swimming and fishing.
The house has its own beach, wood-fired sauna and a pontoon bridge as well as a bathing bridge with a small boat and a canoe for excursions on the lake. The property has fishing rights.
The large building is on two floors and has four smaller bedrooms and two larger bedrooms on the upper floor. There are 2 double beds and 4 beds that are 120-140 cm wide. In total there is room for between 8 and 10 people.
On the ground floor there is a kitchen, dining room, living room, TV room and a recreation room with a table tennis table and a beautiful glass veranda. A single-storey extension from the recreation room has two bedrooms with four beds - a double bed and a bunk bed with 2 sleeping places. The house has a total of 12 beds with 12-14 sleeping places.
The kitchen is equipped with a fireplace, induction hob and oven as well as a refrigerator. There is a freezer in the basement under the kitchen. The drinking water comes from a private well. The dining room is connected to the kitchen and living room. From the living room, dining room, recreation room and veranda there is a view over the lake, and in the living room there are glass doors to a large sitting terrace down to the lake. In the living room there is also a fireplace with a glass insert that you can light a fire in.
The holiday home has a lovely bathroom with a shower corner on the upper floor as well as a toilet and washing machine on the ground floor. There is a large TV in the TV room, and fiber has been installed to the living room.
The house is located directly down to the lake and has its own beach with a pontoon bridge. There is also a small sandy beach, perfect for small children. There are several good outdoor areas where you can enjoy the sun in the morning, afternoon and evening.
There is parking space for several cars.
The property is surrounded by forest with berries and mushrooms, and there are no neighbours who can look in. There is a walking and cycling path nearby. A few kilometres away there is a bathing area with a kiosk (in summer) and a large lawn. There are many beautiful walking trails near the house, for example you can walk around the lake (approx. 6 km). There is a golf course at Kobergs Castle, approx. 15 km away by car.
The house is approx. 40 minutes' drive by car from Gothenburg and approx. 35 minutes from Trollhättan. The nearest commuter train station is Lödöse södra (15km), from there there is a bus up to the house in the morning and afternoon, Monday to Friday
