Hyggeligt feriehus i Marstal på Ærø
This lovely and well-appointed holiday home, located in the skipper town of Marstal, is very close to the town, harbour and beach. It has everything you need for a comfortable base to experience the many attractions of Ærø.
The summer house is a recently renovated holiday home with modern facilities, and a cosy, relaxing atmosphere, with among other things a lovely, enclosed and unobstructed garden with terrace.
In the home you will find a large kitchen-diner, living room and two bedrooms on the first floor. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, TV with DVD, sound system, microwave and fridge/freezer.
There is also wireless fibre broadband in the house.
Guests must bring their own bed linen, towels, tea towels and cloths.
The beds in bedroom 1 are a 180 cm wide bed positioned in the middle of the room. Can be separated into two single beds. In bedroom 2 there is a narrower double bed 140 cm wide positioned in the middle of one end of the room under a sloping window. A wonderful night sky can be seen from there. Blackout curtains are available in both bedrooms.
Remember to book the ferry in good time. Preferably Ærøexpressen.
Instructions for the house are hung in the kitchen.
Chromecast is available as well as a Sonos player.
The 4 bicycles are adult size.
Consumables are on display. Feel free to use and replenish if they run out.
4 bicycles are available for cycling around town and to the beach.
Marstal is known for its lively harbour environment with small cafés, restaurants and plenty of old sailing ships that come and dock. Very well-appointed and safe playgrounds at the harbour. Skipperparken by Halevejen is a hit with children. Marstal Maritime Museum is a world-renowned maritime museum. Kirkestræde in the middle of town is a cosy pedestrian street in summer with plenty of shops and restaurants, cafés and more.
Ærø has a very exciting and diverse nature. Vitsø Nor near Søby offers fantastic bird and animal life. On the beaches, in addition to swimming, you can find amber, fossils and much more. Urehoved, Gråsten Nor, Stokkeby Nor, Sjoen and much more are unrivalled natural areas.
Along Ærø's coasts there is also very good fishing for all kinds of fish.
Ærøskøbing is the famous fairy-tale town, where you can walk around and shop, visit restaurants, enjoy the harbour life or simply look at the well-preserved houses.
