Large holiday home in very rural surroundings
Perfect for, for example, a family who would like to spend a holiday on a working farm. Here there are indeed sheep, hens and cats. The price is really good, and here there is free internet and electricity.
Welcome to this working farm. You will be staying on the same grounds as the owner of the farm, who lives here with his 3 children in their 20s. Here you can get close to sheep and lambs, pet a cat and feed hens. The owner family grows vegetables, and if you wish, you can in season buy cucumbers, tomatoes, potatoes and other things that summer has to offer.
The house is partially newly renovated and there is room for up to 7 people. There are a total of 7 beds, of which 2 are in a sofa bed, and the others are single beds (one bed is a junior bed). There are 3 bedrooms, of which 2 can be closed off with a door. The 3rd bedroom is open towards the living room/common room.
The house is located in a very lovely and lake-rich area in the Småland highlands! Here the summers are warm = Deluxe summer experiences, the springs are lovely, the autumn is full of mushrooms and berries, and the winters are often snow-sure.
The holiday home has a large bathroom with toilet and shower as well as a guest toilet with sink. Bed linen and towels are NOT included in the price, but can be purchased for SEK 150 per person. Final cleaning can likewise be purchased for SEK 1.000.
There is a gazebo on the farm, which you are welcome to use, and there is also a grill. There are some bicycles available, which you are welcome to borrow, provided that the previous guests have returned the bicycles in usable condition.
There are plenty of nature experiences just around the corner. Lovely hiking trails via the highland trail to Småland's highest point, Tomtabacken. Or why not take a walk in the very beautiful area Vikskvarn.
There is approximately 300 metres to the lake Ekelsjösjön. The nearest bathing beach (for small children) is 3 km from the house, and if you want to go to a larger bathing place with diving tower, café etc., then it is approximately 5 km away. You can rent a boat from the owner's neighbour, who usually rents out a rowing boat at a cheap price. There are good opportunities to catch pike and perch both from land and boat. A fishing permit costs approximately SEK 25/day.
