Welcome to our enchanting merchant's house in Nysted.

We are delighted to welcome you to our very special merchant's house – a listed building filled with history, charm and soul.
Over the years, the house has been home to both a veterinarian and a talented ceramicist, and the creative spirit lives on. Several of the ceramicist's works can be experienced throughout the enchanting garden, where old trees, flowers and cosy corners create a very special atmosphere.
When we took over the house in 2021, we fell in love with it immediately because of its unique atmosphere. Since then, we have taken great care to preserve the house's soul and create a place where family and friends can gather, relax and create memories together.
The large dining room is the heart of the house. Here stands a long, rustic dining table with room for many people – perfect for long dinners, board games, creative projects or simply cosy moments with those you love. The cosy living room invites relaxation with a large TV, while the kitchen often becomes the natural gathering point. From here there is direct access to the veranda and the beautiful garden, where you can enjoy your morning coffee, read a book or simply listen to the birds.
In the garden there is also the beautiful old barn, which offers plenty of possibilities. There is room for creative activities, play, yoga, small courses or simply a place where both children and adults can express themselves.
All beds are new and selected with a focus on a good night's sleep. In the basement you will find a washing machine, tumble dryer and an extra refrigerator. There is also plenty of space for play, as well as plenty of equipment for the family's youngest – including cots, high chairs, pram, changing mat and baby bath.

Experience Nysted
The merchant's house is located in the heart of Nysted – one of Denmark's oldest and most atmospheric market towns. The town is known for its cobbled streets, beautiful old houses, the cosy marina and the fantastic views over the water towards Aalholm Castle. Here you will find small cafés, restaurants, ice cream parlours, beach and a relaxed atmosphere, where the pace automatically slows down.
Nysted is also an ideal starting point for exploring the rest of Lolland with forests, beaches, manor houses, cycling routes and exciting destinations.
