Welcome to Grøftekanten! Here there is room for peace and contemplation while you enjoy the spectacular panoramic view over Roskilde Fjord. Here you can see the course of nature, the changing of the seasons and even a Viking ship now and then. The house is located in Ølsted Nordstrand, right in the sweet spot between Frederikssund and Frederiksværk and close to shopping opportunities in Ølsted town itself. There are many culinary and cultural experiences within half an hour's drive, and if you miss a bit of big-city atmosphere, Copenhagen is less than an hour's drive away. The area is characterized by unique nature, with Denmark's largest lake, Arresø, as its centre and rolling landscapes around it – and Halsnæs is also one of the municipalities in the country with the most hours of sunshine. The beach is only 250 metres away, and due to the house's location 21 metres above sea level there is a beautiful west-facing view over the fjord, from where you can sit on the terrace, or lie in the hammock, and enjoy the most fantastic sunsets. There are three bedrooms with eight sleeping places, a lovely large kitchen-living room with new kitchen, TV room adjoining the kitchen-living room, and toilet with bathroom. There is a wood-burning stove for the dark evenings and two lovely terraces for the light nights. All in all a cosy holiday home with plenty of space, and where you do not compromise on comfort.
