Spacious Activity Holiday Home on a Private Plot – Ideal for Families and Friends

In the beautiful natural surroundings of St. Sjørup, you will find this charming holiday home. The bright and comfortably furnished living room includes a wood-burning stove and a heat pump. Adjacent to the living area is a well-equipped and functional kitchen featuring, among other things, a dishwasher. From the kitchen, there is direct access to a lovely covered terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. The spacious bathroom includes a shower as well as access to both a washing machine and a tumble dryer. The house offers eight sleeping spaces across four bedrooms, all with double beds. For active guests, there is a separate entertainment room with air hockey, table football, Wii, and Xbox – perfect for a rainy day indoors. For younger guests, a highchair and a cot are available. The house is situated on a large, fenced plot with a big lawn, ideal for play and ball games. There is also a football goal and a cosy fire pit where you can enjoy making twist bread or roasting marshmallows on a summer evening. An outdoor cleaning area is available for anglers. The holiday home is located in a scenic area in northern Djursland. The beach at Store Sjørup is one of Djursland’s unique bathing spots. Here, the coastline first reveals a fjord-like seabed, but as you step into the shallow water, you’ll find sandbanks and the open sea stretching as far as the eye can see. The beach resembles the Wadden Sea with clear differences between high and low tide, tidal channels, and small saltwater lagoons. About 10 km from the house, you’ll find the charming ferry harbour at Udbyhøj with a small marina and good fishing opportunities. From here, a cable ferry takes you across to the Randers side, where you’ll find a lovely white sandy beach with a Blue Flag. The route is beautiful and suitable for both cycling and hiking. For even more nature experiences, a visit to the Coast and Fjord Centre is highly recommended, as are Gl. Estrup Manor, the Stone Age burial mounds at Tustrup, and Scandinavia’s largest amusement park, Djurs Sommerland.
