The area offers many good hiking opportunities and it is a very beautiful walk of 2.8 km along the gendarme path to good shopping opportunities in the cosy Broager. If you want to swim there is a small cosy beach with a bathing jetty within 400m and back at the holiday home outdoor showers with hot water while you look out over Flensburg Fjord.
