Welcome to our holiday home on Røsnæs🏡☀️

The holiday home was built in 2003 and is full of charm and cosiness. The heart of the house is the bright and spacious living room with a loft ceiling, large windows and access to a small mezzanine. There is plenty of space for both relaxation and shared meals, and the living room is furnished with a dining table, sofa and a comfortable armchair.

The house has two bedrooms. One is furnished with a double bed, while the other has two single beds.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking - in addition to plenty of tableware there is also a dishwasher, coffee machine and mixer.

Outside you will find a lovely terrace with both a gas grill and a cosy outdoor dining area with a table and six chairs - perfect for summer evenings with good food and a relaxed atmosphere. In the winter months, furniture is packed away under a tarpaulin as can also be seen in the pictures, but the gas grill can still be used.

In the cold months, the wood-burning stove or fan heater ensures that you can easily stay warm and create a cosy atmosphere after a long day out in nature.

The area🏖

The holiday home is located in Røsnæs Strandpark - a small and quiet holiday home area on the northern side of the peninsula. Here there is a short distance to both nature, water and pleasant local experiences. There is a Min Købmand a few minutes' drive from the holiday home, and there are also many shopping opportunities in Kalundborg.

The holiday home is only 350 metres from a charming beach. In summer you can swim from the bathing jetty or use the nearby football pitches, while winter offers quiet walks along the water and beautiful viewpoints from the benches along the coast.

Røsnæs offers many experiences:

- A short drive from the house is Røsnæs Lighthouse, where you can buy an ice cream, climb up the tower and enjoy a stunning view over the water and landscape.

- Kalundborg Golf Club has an 18-hole course just 5 minutes' drive from the house.

- The walking route Røsnæs Rundt takes you - around Røsnæs - and the route runs right past the holiday home, so it is easy to "get on"

- On Røsnæs are Denmark's 5 largest vineyards, where at several of them you can taste exceptional Danish wine.

- Røsnæs is part of Denmark's Nature Canon together with places such as Råbjerg Mile and Møns Klint. The reasoning from the nature authority is as follows: "Once you have been here, you know that it is not at all necessary to travel either south or north of the country's borders to find your zen in nature. Røsnæs offers an overwhelming and quite dramatic nature."

- Furthermore, it is possible to experience wild horses, catch sea trout from the coast and much much more.

About us👫

We are a couple living in Copenhagen. We love to go to the holiday home when we need to get away from the pace of the city and out to nature and peace. Emil has visited Røsnæs since childhood, and therefore it felt quite natural for us to find our own place right here.
