Charming summer house with thatched roof built in classic red brick, with lovely light and a high-ceilinged loft. If silence, peace and quiet as well as beautiful nature appeal to you, then this summer house is an obvious choice. From the cosy summer house in the 2nd row to the water there is only a few hundred metres' walk to the water, and the most beautiful view over Avnø Fjord. The house has a large bright living room, with large windows and two large French doors, facing the garden's green trees and bushes. The crackling of the wood stove can be enjoyed from the sofa while you enjoy the view. Good dining space for everyone at the rustic dining table. The living and dining room has vaulted ceilings, which creates an open and spacious atmosphere. In the small charming country kitchen you will find the necessary utensils and an airfryer for preparing food. There is a bedroom with a double bed and a smaller room with a single bed. On the high loft are two beds, and the loft is open towards the living room, where there are vaulted ceilings. A sturdy staircase is used to access the loft. In the bathroom you will also find a washing machine, so laundry can be easily done. There are two wooden terraces in different orientations, so it is easy to find a quiet and sunny spot when the sun is shining. There is a covered terrace so you can also enjoy contact with nature even if the weather is not perfect. The area and the house's garden often provide a setting for diverse wildlife. Among other things, you can see roe deer, hares, squirrels and a rich variety of birds. The night sky is known to be one of the clearest and best in Denmark, for observing the sky and stars. Walks along the beach, which is only a few minutes' walk from the house, are lovely all year round at all times of day. It is lovely to row a sea kayak, canoe or SUP in the normally very calm and shallow water of the fjord. The shallow water with sandy bottom is also really good for children. Avnø Nature Centre is only 3 km away, and is a protected nature area. There is a richly illustrated visitor centre, and it is possible to take the external stairs up to the old control tower, where there are binoculars so you can see the seals on the fjord. Knudshoved Odde, which is the long spit that protects the fjord's calm waters, also offers really good walking opportunities and rich wildlife. Among other things, various nature projects have released various rare animal species. Vordingborg town centre is about 7 km away, where Gåsetårnet can be visited and the history of Jyske Lov and the Valdemar kings can be explored. There is also a small and varied botanical garden with free admission. The cosy pedestrian street is an inviting shopping street, where you will also find several restaurants and cafes. A recommended white sandy beach, with lifeguards, nearby can be visited in Karrebæksminde, where there are also two mini golf courses, and a pleasant beach life. The nearest 18-hole golf course is at Sydsjællands Golf Club in Mogenstrup and Næstved Golf Club can certainly also be recommended. A little further away you can visit, among other things, Skovtårnet, Dodekalitten, Møns Klint, Knuthenborg Safari Park, Gavnø Castle and much more.
