The surroundings are naturally beautiful with opportunities for hiking in hilly terrain, along the coast or in Nordskoven. There are plenty of cycling routes in the area, for example around Arresø, to Tisvilde Hegn or to the beach in Liseleje. If you have a car, you can take trips to the charming Hundested harbour with handicrafts, glass art and brewery, Frederiksværk with pedestrian street and cultural centre, or Frederikssund with restaurants and shopping opportunities. It takes approximately 45 minutes to drive by car to Copenhagen. There is also a local bus to Frederikssund Station from which the train goes directly to Copenhagen city centre. The house has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and washing machine, a larger living room where the sofa can be pulled out into a double bed.
The house has a wood-burning stove, but as there is a minor leak at the chimney, which is awaiting imminent repair, the wood-burning stove must not be used.
