Lakolk Strand is just a few kilometres away and offers plenty of opportunity for beach life, kite flying and long walks in the sand. The island's open landscapes, the Wadden Sea's distinctive nature and its rich wildlife make the area suitable for both active holidays and quiet contemplation. There are good cycling routes, local restaurants and room to enjoy nature at a pace where everyone can participate.
