Here there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy the sun, read a book or just relax in peaceful surroundings. The area around the house offers genuine holiday quality. In the local area you will find flat landscapes, large rivers, beautiful walking trails and cycling routes that wind through the South Jutland landscape. A short drive brings you to the Wadden Sea, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for black sun and rich birdlife. The town of Tønder is only a few minutes away and offers historic buildings, cosy cafés and good shopping opportunities. Also visit Møgeltønder and Schackenborg Castle – both nearby attractions with cultural and historical value. At the same time it is close to the Danish-German border, so there are good shopping opportunities across the border. Padborg Park motorsports facility is only 25 min. drive away, and to Flensburg it is only 45 min. drive.
