Large charming holiday home within walking distance of the safest and best beach on the west coast as well as the town's many exciting activities and restaurants. We have taken great care to make the house a pleasant place to be with art and ceramics. There is an enclosed garden facing southwest with a large wooden terrace, which provides the opportunity to protect your privacy and shelter from the westerly wind. After a swim, it is possible to use the outdoor shower on the terrace. We love our sunroom, where even on a rainy day it is warm and cosy.
Lærkevej 7 is a house that is pleasant to be in all year round, both on sunny days and on days with rain and wind. The house is spacious with many cosy corners, where there is room to be together; but which also provides the opportunity to withdraw. On the first floor there is a wood-burning stove in the large living room. The house is heated with district heating and of course heated for your arrival. HEATING IS INCLUDED.
There are bedrooms both on the ground floor and on the first floor.
We endeavour to ensure that upon arrival there is access to basic things in the house - coffee, salt, flour, sugar, etc. and hope that you will also leave a little for the next guests.
We have 3 bicycles available for free use. It is the guests' own responsibility to keep the bicycles in working order.
The house is a perfect starting point for enjoying the nature around Thyborøn, with plenty of opportunities for swimming, fishing and visiting museums in the town and in the surrounding area. It is also possible to take a PUCK maxi tour with a visit to the local pub - Kahytten, and who has not heard of the famous Sneglehus - where we can recommend their homemade kringle for afternoon coffee. In Thyborøn there is also a larger water park with offers for young and old. It is not far to Thy National Park with a boat to Aggertange, or a trip to Lemvig with the local train VLTJ, and to Borgbjerg Lighthouse near the artist colony at Fjaltering.
