The house is a heritage-listed old aftægtshus from Tranekær Castle that has been kept close to the original, but with modern facilities, including a new electric car charging point. The house is a small house from the time it was built, but with a big heart and the garden with the large old walnut tree that was planted when the house was built, has been kept untouched, which completes the peace that the house gives. Here you can relax your shoulders and enjoy the rich wildlife that emerges everywhere. The wild horses often graze on the plain at the end of the road and can be seen from the garden's relaxation corner. The house is furnished for different needs. There are futon mattresses (3 sleeping places) with sofa/chair/bed combination function in one bedroom for the younger guests and comfortable elevation beds (3) in the other bedroom. In the living room the sofa can be folded out into a double bed in case of guests with mobility difficulties. The house has been renovated with new furnishings. In the area there are good opportunities for interesting activities. The castle, restaurant and cafe are within a short walk. The bus runs at the end of the road and there is beautiful forest for walks and a bathing beach nearby. Local bicycle rental is a few km from the house. Plenty of history, culture and atmosphere.
