Very beautiful wooden house from the 1850s. Renovated/modernised on a wonderful beach. Free electricity, free rowing and wonderful surroundings.

Here you will find beautiful old floors, a raw timber wall and handmade doors with old-fashioned latches, all of which have been preserved and can be enjoyed today. The villa has been carefully renovated and has a well-equipped kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, coffee machine and electric kettle. When you stand preparing food, you have a view over the beach and the dam, which creates calm and attracts contemplation. Perhaps you will see a rabbit pass by outside?

In the living room you can curl up on the sofa with a good book or for a chat with a dear friend and feel the lovely warmth from the fireplace.

Up to 6 people can stay here. Perhaps two families will go together and experience Astrid Lindgren's Småland, but it will also suit a couple or some good friends who want to have quality time. In the bedroom on the ground floor there is a double bed, and in the loft there are 4 single beds. The stairs up to the loft are quite steep, so if you have very small children or have balance problems, it is not recommended to use the loft.

The toilet is located in an adjacent cottage on the property. There is also a shower, washing machine and a lovely sauna.

In the garden there is a small beach and a jetty, where there is a boat and rowing boats. It invites you to go fishing, and with a short trip you might catch some perch or pike? Sailing and fishing in the lake Dammen are included. If you don't like fishing, it is still lovely just to relax on the Lugna dam, listen to the fishing, see the seabirds or the Cows, which walk as they walk peacefully and better on the other side.

Around the garden there is a forest where children have already started building huts, perhaps another hut will come or perhaps a new castle or a new town, after you have been there?! Perhaps your child will see a playful squirrel hop from tree to tree. For adults tired of playing in the pools, there are plenty of lingonberries, blueberries and mushrooms in the fields around Sofiero as well as the opportunity for lovely forest walks or jogging trips.

Sofiero has a unique medicine. Here you can get exactly the peace you need after a year of lots of stress, noise and times that need to be. Good with birds in spring and summer, and you often wake up to a beautiful choir of different birds in the morning. You live very close to the healing and calming nature.
