Welcome to our house in the forest. 🌲 Here you can "unplug" and enjoy a cosy oasis where peace settles in the meeting with nature around the house. With the most common conveniences such as heat pump, wood-burning stove, dishwasher, microwave, internet and smart TV, the house can be the centre for plenty of cosiness with family, children and friends, whether it is together over one of the house's board games or in another world conveyed by a gripping book or a good film. On lovely summer days the large terrace will be like an extension of the house when the double doors are opened and the terrace's furniture is taken to meals or relaxing hours or plenty of play. There are sun loungers, a hammock, parasols, play equipment, ladder golf and a grill at your disposal. If the weather is in the cooler range, cosiness can be created around the outdoor fireplace. From the living room and terrace there is a view over the forest, where paths lead you around the area's varied terrain. If you need more activity, the shallow water by the coast is ideal for SUP. On the fjord there is also the possibility of putting kayak, canoe or boats in the water. Øster Hurup, which is 10 km away, is a real, bustling summer town. Here you can enjoy restaurants, bars and ice cream parlours, or explore one of the town's fine shops. The town is also home to a really nice and child-friendly bathing beach and a harbour pool. If you are in the mood for an excursion, a visit to Lille Vildmose Centre is recommended (open in season). Randers with the remarkable Randers Rainforest is approximately 45 minutes' drive away. Colourful Aalborg with Zoo, shopping and nightlife is approximately one hour's drive away.
