There are good cycling paths, beach promenade with ice cream, cafés and mini golf, as well as activities such as kite and windsurfing. Nature trails lead to Bøtø Nor and forest, where you can meet grazing horses and rich bird life. Bathing piers, beach games and sunsets in the dunes. Excursions are easy: Marielyst Torv offers markets and small shops, Gedser Odde gives wide horizons and stony beaches, and Nykøbing Falster has museum, zoo and cosy streets. Golf, go-kart and playgrounds are nearby. All within reasonable distance from the house. Cafés, smokery and local farm shops give flavour.
