The area around the holiday home offers classic holiday qualities. Only about 500 metres away lies a child-friendly beach with sand and shallow water, perfect for bathing and beach days. The coast invites you to walks, fishing and quiet evenings with a view over the water.

The area's nature offers many trails through forest, heath and coastal landscape, which are ideal for hiking and cycling trips. The area is quiet, but at the same time close to summer towns with shops, cafés, ice cream parlours and small shops.

There are also good opportunities for excursions on Djursland, where you will find a wealth of sights and activities, whether you are looking for culture, nature or family activities. Within an hour's drive from the house you can visit, among other things:

- 3 fantastic animal parks (all 30-40 min away): Scandinavian Wildlife Park, Ree Park Safari and Munkholm Zoo.
- Aarhus (1 hour) which offers, among other things, some fantastic museums (including Aros and Moesgaard), a cosy city centre, good restaurants, Tivoli, an impressive harbour area with bathing facilities
- Ebeltoft (45 min), a cosy old town where you can walk through the small streets and visit the Frigate Jylland (a Danish warship from 1860) and Maltfabrikken.
- Mols Bjerge (40 min), a beautiful national park with good hiking trails and beautiful nature as well as the ruin Kalø Castle Ruin.
