Hyggeligt, unikt hus nær havnen i Gudhjem
Welcome to this cosy ground-floor apartment in a large house in the middle of Gudhjem.
The building historically housed, among other things, a Sunday school for a Baptist church as well as a hairdresser. The home offers Danish cosiness and warmth, and is our home most of the year, so we hope you will love it just as much as we do.
The home offers two separate bedrooms (Dame Salon and Herre Salon) with two single beds in each, a large living room in open plan and dining room with potential for additional sleeping space for two on the sofa bed, a large kitchen and a shower room.
There is access to a small garden with grass, where you can sit and eat, and enjoy time with the family.
In the living room there is a dining table for 6 - 8 people as well as a large sofa and reading chairs. The television is equipped with a Google Chromecast, so you can watch TV directly from your own devices. There is a Bluetooth radio for listening to music.
The kitchen is well-equipped with essential equipment and includes all kitchenware and dishes and there is plenty of space. Note that there is no freezer. There is a dishwasher, oven and cooker.
The shower room is small but functional with toilet, sink and shower.
Some additional remarks to be aware of, which we think make the house extra special:
- we live on the first floor during your stay. It is an old house, so you will probably hear our footsteps when we are home. The only shared room is the hallway towards the back of the house, where our entrance and private bathroom are. See floor plan, which shows the layout of the house (it is not drawn to scale).
- in addition to us two, our cats, Potato and Frances, also live here. It is entirely possible to close the rental completely off from them if you wish, by closing the two doors to the back hallway.
- Although we do everything to remove cat hair, the home will probably not be suitable for people with severe allergies.
- In the house there is a folder with additional information regarding your stay in the house.
