Traditional Swedish holiday home with a homely atmosphere. Lovely outdoor living area with beautiful views over lake and nature – quality of life!
On the owner's farm with horses, sheep, cats and dog as well as abundant birdlife, this "senior residence" offers a cosy homely feel. Low door steps and underfloor heating throughout the house.
There is a water-based wood-burning stove and 4 m² solar panels as a supplement to electric heating. For environmentally friendly and economical heating.
Comfortable and tasteful furnishings with space for five adults. The owners of the house wish that families with children choose one of the 4 houses in total offered on the farm.
There are 3 bedrooms: 1 with a double bed, another with 2 good beds in a bed cupboard (i.e. beds that can be folded up against the wall during the day), and the third is a combined single bedroom/office.
Utility room with direct access to the garage, which has a door. Wooden terrace around almost the entire house. To the southwest there is a glazed outdoor living area with sliding doors in three directions, and to the northwest there is a high fence that shields from view and wind.
Free fishing in the lake with certain restrictions. In the lake by the house you have access to a rowing boat. The lake is less suitable for swimming as there are leeches. Within a short distance there are many other lakes for both fishing and swimming.
Walking and cycling routes are nearby, and a ski resort (Isaberg Mountain Resort) and golf course are only about 20 km away. A lovely national park is 25 km from the house.
The owners try to live as healthily, naturally and cleanly as possible, therefore smoking is prohibited throughout the area.
Final cleaning and transport of waste to the recycling centre are carried out by the host and cost 1.500 SEK as a mandatory fee.
Bed linen and one large and one small towel can be rented for 250 SEK per set. This is ordered when booking.
Electricity consumption is charged from March to and including October at 2 SEK/kWh and from November to and including February at 3 SEK/kWh. Firewood can be purchased on site.
In the same area there are three additional holiday homes, which is perfect for those of you travelling together but still wanting privacy. The houses are at a suitable distance so you can see each other but choose togetherness or peace and quiet yourselves.
