Less than an hour's drive from Copenhagen, you will find this charming and fully renovated holiday home with one of Hornbæk's most attractive locations. The house is situated peacefully on a quiet road, only about 800 metres from Hornbæk's wide sandy beach and about 1 km from the cosy town centre with cafés, restaurants, specialist shops and the atmospheric harbour. Here you get the best of both worlds – a peaceful retreat where you can breathe deeply, while the beach, town life and experiences are within easy walking distance.

The holiday home has been fully renovated with great respect for classic holiday home charm. Wood-clad walls, light materials and a personal Nordic interior create a warm and relaxed atmosphere where it is easy to feel at home from the very first moment.

Kitchen, dining area and living room are combined in one large and bright living space with a view of the lush garden with old trees and beautiful rhododendrons. Here cooking becomes part of the holiday, where family and friends gather over a good bottle of wine, pleasant conversations or a board game around the dining table, while the day's experiences are shared.

From the living room there is direct access to the house's two large wooden terraces, which form the setting for a large part of the holiday. Start the day with morning coffee in the sun, relax with a good book in the lounge furniture or gather family and friends around the large dining table for long lunches, grilling and cosy summer evenings under the open sky. One of the terraces is partially covered, so outdoor life can be enjoyed well into the evening – even when the dew falls.

The large, private and fully fenced garden is a green oasis where children can play freely, the dog can roam safely, and the whole family can gather around the fire pit. After a day at the beach, the outdoor shower is the perfect way to finish before the evening continues on the terrace with a view of the garden and the peace and quiet.

The house has three good bedrooms with space for six people and is perfect for families, multiple generations and friends. The bathroom has underfloor heating, the house is equipped with air conditioning/heat pump, and there is private parking with space for at least two cars.

Hornbæk Strand is less than 1 km from the house and is considered by many to be one of Denmark's best and most family-friendly sandy beaches. Here you will find white sand, dunes and clear bathing water, and during the summer season the beach is staffed with lifeguards. Whether the day is spent swimming, building sandcastles, long walks along the water or simply relaxing in the sun, the beach is a natural gathering point for both children and adults.

Hornbæk is full of life all year round. Take a walk through the cosy streets, visit the harbour, enjoy lunch or dinner at one of Hornbæk's many cafés and restaurants, or visit the popular food stalls at Det Fedtede Hjørne, while the children play mini golf right next door. As the day draws to a close, you can return to Ledgårdsvej, light the grill and enjoy the bright summer evenings in quiet and private surroundings.

Dogs are very welcome, and the fully fenced garden makes the holiday easy and safe for the whole family. Out of consideration for allergies in the host family, cats are unfortunately not allowed.
