Newly built 85 m2 year-round insulated centrally heated ECO-house with 2 double bedrooms, sleeping loft, bathroom, entrance, living-kitchen-dining room with wood-burning stove and a conservatory with vegetable kitchen.

THE DANISH RIVIERA
Between sea and fjord in Denmark's oldest eco-town Torup, completely free from traffic noise, lies Granithuset Valhalla. The rental building with private entrance and 2 terraces is a fully insulated year-round home made of 90% recycled materials and granite blocks. The house walls are lime-washed and there is high ceilings with beams of 100-year-old Pomeranian pine. The floors on the ground floor with entrance, bathroom and kitchen-dining room have underfloor heating. Naturally there is a wood-burning stove and the rooms are furnished with stylish antique recycled furniture. You feel transported to a South European mountain cottage.

The adjoining conservatory facing south extends the summer season by months and here in the conservatory there is a vegetable kitchen with cold/hot water taps and a double window, so the cook inside in kitchen 1 can order the fresh cleaned vegetables you have just prepared. So a double kitchen without space constraints.
Both terrace doors are double doors that can open wide, extending the living room to 11 m. If many guests arrive, a long table is set up for 22 people. There is naturally full kitchen service available for large gatherings.

The staircase with mahogany banister and steps in marble, granite and oak leads up to the 1st floor with 2 double bedrooms. The south-facing bedroom with loft has 2 single beds that are coupled together, but can be separated and moved around on wheels with brakes as needed. In this south-facing bedroom there is also a loft where 1 adult or 2 children can sleep.
The north-facing bedroom is also equipped with a divisible double bed on wheels with brakes, suitcase storage, 2 café chairs, 3 windows facing north, east and west and a balcony with views of the morning sun and sunset. Out on the balcony and on the terraces smoking is naturally permitted.

Linens and towels are included in the price.
The bedding consists of down duvets with cotton covers.
If you wish the double beds divided into single beds, this must be communicated as soon as possible. Contact the house manager Ole. Ole can be contacted via SMS or phone call for important inquiries. 1 extra floor mattress can be provided in each bedroom, for a fee. The phone number will be provided by the rental company upon request after confirmed reservation.

In the refrigerator there is always a complimentary bottle of rosé, 2 l. carbonated water, a couple of beers and soft drinks.
The kitchen is fully equipped with coffee, tea, salt, pepper and a selection of spices, in limited quantities. The kitchen knives are sharp!
