Rørvig is known by many as a beautiful holiday town, from which there is a ferry connection to Hundested. In summer you see every day lots of children lying on their stomachs on the piers to catch crabs. The locals call the crabs "elevator crabs", because they – over the course of a summer – have to make the trip up and down in the water countless times. This classic holiday house is situated on a beautiful, large plot. In addition to electric heating, the house is also heated by two heat pumps. The beautiful living room has a wood-burning stove, and from the sofa you can enjoy the view of the lovely garden through the beautiful window section. (NB: There is no free firewood, but guests can use any firewood that may be lying under the wood-burning stove itself. Firewood can be purchased at the supermarket or at petrol stations.) The house has three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with double beds. The third bedroom has two single beds and also functions as a passage room. It has no door, but is screened off with a woven curtain. In addition, there is a sofa bed with space for two people. The sofa bed is in the beautiful outdoor room, which has double doors out to the garden and a view of the fantastic, large rhododendron. Original kitchen with dishwasher. There is also a washing machine available. The house has a bathroom and an extra toilet. There is direct access to the bathroom from the pool area. In the beautiful pool area, where both children and adults can swim and have fun, there is a lovely, covered lounge area at one end of the pool, so you can supervise the pool in a pleasant and reassuring way when you don't want to go in the water yourself. There is also a grill, garden furniture and sun loungers as well as parking space for the car. Rørvig's old town centre contains many beautiful fishermen's and sea captain's houses. It is a lovely walk along the path along the coast from the harbour to the old town centre. Around Rørvig there are several natural gems: East of the harbour, for example, Skansehage and Skansebugten, which since Viking times have functioned as a natural harbour. If you want to go on a slightly longer excursion, you can visit Sommerland Sjælland, go shopping in the cosy market town Nykøbing Sjælland or perhaps take a trip to Geopark Odsherred. There are also several golf courses in the area.
