Welcome to Østerschjøn, which is our pearl in Balka! - 238 sqm private holiday home, with only 400 metres to Denmark's most beautiful and most child-friendly beach.

The house has, in addition to a lovely living room and 35 sqm garden room, also 6 bedrooms and a sofa bed on the 1st floor for 2 people.

There is a kitchen and bathroom on both floors, so you can easily spend your holiday together as two families, two generations or just friends who want to spend their holiday together.

On the 1st floor there is a lovely Søren Søgaard Pool/Billiard table, a Shuffleboard, Smart TV & Playstation 4.

In the garden room there is a large chest filled with board games.

There is also thought of the youngest with a travel cot and a folding high chair in the house.

The large garden invites cosiness and play, there are plenty of cosy corners, with both a wooden terrace outside the garden room and a smaller covered terrace under the house's balcony.

Besides the beach there is forest with a cycle path "in the back garden". It is 2.6 km to Nexø along the path and 2.7 km to the charming Snogebæk. With only 7.1 km to Dueodde beach, you thus have the opportunity, with base in Balka, to visit some of the beaches which have been voted not only in Denmark but also voted as some of Europe's best and most beautiful beaches!

Did you know by the way that Balka beach has been voted Denmark's most child-friendly beach? - This is because the water is often calm, as the beach is sheltered from the westerly wind, and there is also a lot of shallow water. Furthermore, Balka, like Dueodde beach, has the finest powder sand… it is said that you can use it to put in hourglasses!
