Røsnæs 25 km to the north is Denmark's wine country, and there are many tasting and dining venues. In Gørlev 5 km away there is a nature playground and good shopping facilities, on Reersø 4 km away there is Copenhagen-style café, inn and ceramics. And keep an eye on Havnsø and Gimle in Føllenslev if you like live music. In Jyderup 25 km away is café Forsinket with its Berlin atmosphere, and at Kragerup Estate you can sky-walk.
