The house offers a cosy atmosphere, crackling wood stove and exposed beams. It is situated on a generously large plot with good shelter. The house sleeps 6 people and a maximum of 1 dog is allowed. House layout
This historic house of 100 m2 dates from 1877 and is the birthplace of author Erik Bertelsen (known among other things for the song "Blæsten går frisk over Limfjordens vande"). The house's largest room is the lovely large and bright living room, where the many windows contribute to good natural light. In the living room there are upholstered furniture, television with Danish and German channels and radio. From the living room there is access to the large south-facing terrace, where you can enjoy grilling and sun. The living room can be heated with the energy-saving heat pump or you can light the cosy wood stove. In most of the house the old authentic ceiling beams are preserved. You should therefore be aware that in the living room the ceiling is lower (1.90 m). The kitchen has everything you need for your holiday. It features induction hob, oven, extractor hood, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave in a completely newly renovated kitchen. The house has three good bright bedrooms. Two rooms have a double bed and the last room has a sofa bed. From the bedroom with sofa bed there is also access to the large south-facing terrace. The house's bathroom has toilet, sink and shower and is heated with underfloor heating. The house also has a guest toilet. There is a washing machine available for laundry. For the youngest guests there is a high chair and a cot available. Close to the house there are 2 charging stations for electric cars.

House surroundings
This lovely holiday home is situated on a 1900 m2 plot and is pleasantly secluded with good shelter on all sides. The cosy east-facing terrace with garden furniture is surrounded by a half wall, which simply invites you to enjoy your morning coffee here in peace and quiet. On the south-facing terrace there are garden furniture, 2 sun loungers and a grill, where you can end the late summer evenings and listen to the North Sea, which rushes and roars behind the dunes just a few hundred metres from the house.
In the area there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy a relaxed holiday close to the sea, or take advantage of the many activities in the area such as mini golf, footgolf, put and take lake and much more. The area has a grocer, supermarkets, café and restaurant. Close to the house there is the opportunity to ride the local railway (VLTJ – which also has its own song). From the platform in Vrist you can reach the cosy harbour town of Thyborøn or Lemvig in just over 10 minutes by train, both offering good shopping opportunities. As a guest with SJ Feriehusudlejning it is free for all the house's guests to use the train. If you enjoy walking, there are several good trails along the beautiful North Sea, Ferring Lake, Bovbjerg Lighthouse and in Klosterheden.
